Kingaroy has a thriving sporting, cultural and social life.  We have 4 art galleries, craft outlets as well as well maintained parks. The town also has two lookouts which provide beautiful panoramic rural views across Kingaroy to the Bunya Mountains.  The town also boasts it’s very own 18 hole Golf Club, Olympic size Swimming Pool, Bowling Club, Football Grounds, Show Grounds accomodating Pony Club and Dart Club, Cricket Club grounds, Ten Pin Bowling Alley, Squash Club and RSL.  Other sporting activities include Boxing, Martial Arts, Croquet, Athletics, Running, Dancing, and a great Theatrical Society.

Annual events include the Wine and Food in The Park Festival held in March, the Kingaroy Show held in May, the Burrandowan Picnic Races also held each May, the Kingaroy Peanut Festival held each year in September, and finally the Chrismas Carnival.

Real Estate in Kingaroy and its’ surrounding area is also an attraction for those wanting a country change from their busy city lives.
